The music of three-time Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin serves as the platform for the Building Bridges Program. Tom Chapin’s music is a powerful tool that teachers can integrate into their existing curriculum during the school year to teach life lessons about: diversity, anti-violence, healthy choices, respect, and environmental responsibility through the songs.
The program culminates with the students being transported to the Higley Center for Performing Arts on February 1st or 2nd, 2016 to experience a live concert performance starring Tom Chapin. The program, concert, and transportation are provided free to the participating classrooms.
