Teaching students about diversity, bullying, healthy choices, tolerance, respect and environmental responsibility.
5th Annual Building Bridges Program and Family Concert
The music of three-time Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin serves as the platform for the Building Bridges Program. Tom Chapin’s music is a powerful tool that teachers can integrate into their existing curriculum during the school year to teach life lessons about: diversity, anti-violence, healthy choices, respect, and environmental responsibility through the songs.
The program culminates with the students being transported to The Higley Center for Performing Arts on March 5 & 6, 2014 to experience a live concert performance starring Tom Chapin. The program, concert, and transportation are provided free to the participating classrooms.
The Higley Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Council secures community sponsors who believe in Arts Education so the program expenses are completely underwritten. To be a Building Bridges Sponsor or sign-up a classroom to participate email Debbie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
